AFCON 2025: Senegalese fans on trial as Morocco looks forward to 2030 World Cup

A court in Morocco’s capital, Rabat, is set to rule on the release of Senegalese football fans arrested after a disputed Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.
But the tournament attracted around one million visitors, generating close to one billion dollars in economic activity. And it comes as Morocco prepares to cohost an even bigger event
